Hi starratt, Sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble with spider webs. We're actively working on our algorithms to make them better than ever, if you have any sample videos you'd like me to pass along to our computer vision team let me know and I'd be glad to do so. There may be some rule combinat...

Re: Sighthound detects my dog and cat as people

Hi Kent, When reviewing your clips do you have a rule selected that only looks for people? The default filter when going to the search view is "Any Camera - All Objects" which will show clips of all moving objects and people. Objects will appear with a green box around them and people will...

Re: DLink DCS-2132L

Hi azctflyer, My apologies, I had meant to send both the live and play stream paths, though after seeing your screenshot it would appear video is for the http streams and live is for the rtsp streams.. I'd be happy to take a look at your logs for anything unusual if you could submit a bug report by ...

Re: Avacom wifi HD cameras

Hi OldOneEye, This is a problem that can occur when connected to an rtsp stream over UDP. Unlike TCP, UDP has no reliability - packets can be lost resulting in video corruption like you see. We can attempt to force a TCP connection by adding &svforcetcp to the end of the stream path. Here is how...

Re: DLink DCS-2132L

Hi azctflyer, I did some research on this camera and found that the url that should work for this camera is rtsp://camera.ip.address/video1.sdp. This assumes that you have not changed the settings for RTSP port or for the different stream profiles. You can enter this URL in Sighthound Video by selec...

Re: Encoding video?

Hi Nick, At this time there isn't a way to adjust the video settings in such a way to adjust the file size other than changing the resolution that Sighthound Video saves video to. We may consider adding settings like this for more tech savvy users in the future but we have no plans to do so in the i...

Re: IFTTT - Leave area -> Turn on sighthound

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the feature request. Sighthound currently only acts as a trigger (or the IF) with IFTTT. Having Sighthound work as the response, or the "THEN..." part, is something we may consider implementing in the future.

Re: SightHound + Intel Avoton?

Hi beeftube, I cant speak to the Intel Avoton processors specifically, though this website is useful in comparing processor power: http://cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php We have a few examples of machines (with specs) running various amounts of cameras, with which you can compare against, at https://w...
