Re: Just registered today and I have a couple of questions

Hi 105437,

You are correct that both live streams as well as clips are viewable via remote access. HTTPS support for remote access is high on our wish list and something we're working on for a future update.

Re: CPU hardware requirements for medium system

CPU usage will be higher in busier scenes as object tracking and classification do require additional processing over an empty scene. We'd be happy to get you a trial for your second machine, however it appears that the email used for your forum account is not the same as for your installations. Ple...

Re: Features coming during the next year?

Hi 303, Renewing your support and upgrade subscription is of course optional as Devin noted, and can always be done at a later date. Your license is valid forever for all 2.X versions that will ever be released. One of the nice things about the support & upgrade subscription model vs. the typica...

Re: Zmodo camera drops out after 10 secs

Hi Lonestar, Thank you for the message, I'm sorry you're having trouble with your camera and the Sighthound Video software. We recently purchased a Zmodo camera and are attempting to debug this issue. I can't promise an exact timeframe but we do hope to have a fix for this soon. Please watch our web...

Re: What is coming? What are you working?

Hi Mauro, Thank you very much for being a continue customer, and for the suggestions. I can't share our roadmap, but we do have a lot in the queue which I hope you'll enjoy when it is ready. Thanks for the suggestions as well. For delays, there is now indeed an email rate limiting option, something ...

Re: Camera picture Glitches

Hi Max&Leo, It's not too small of an issue to fix, though it is one which affects a very small percentage of potential cameras and requires a very large work investment to approach, so it had not been something we were able to push to the top of the queue. Compounding this further is the fact th...

Re: Encoding video?

Hi Nick, You can see a few example systems and CPU usage at the bottom of https://www.sighthound.com/support/system-requirements The best test though would be to download Sighthound Video and try it out. The application includes a Pro license for 14 days so you can try all parts of the app and live ...

Re: We need these features!

Hi jmac, The additional bug reports are absolutely welcome, we were just hoping to hear a response to the emails as there were questions we had about your setup and the trouble that the logs alone could not answer. I'm glad to hear that all seems to be working for you at the moment, and hope that it...

Re: Camera picture Glitches

@303 - what are the camera models and settings you are experiencing trouble with? We are hard at work on improving both tracking and recognition algorithms, these should certainly not be recognized as 'people'. There may be additional interim heuristics to ignore the glitches we can insert, but hope...
