Re: Include Video URL in Sighthound Video alert email

Hi Jim,

This is not currently possible to configure within the application, but it's a great feature request and hopefully something that will be able to make it into the road map in the future.

Best,

Re: Sales Inquiry -Camera Licensing

Hi ml48603, Thank you for your interest in Sighthound Video. You can certainly transfer your Sighthound Video license from one machine to another, but a given license can only be installed on one machine at a time. Sighthound Video can only use one license at a time, so you cannot install multiple b...

Re: No Alerts Windows 7/Android 4.4.4

Hi AO!, I'm sorry you're experiencing trouble with push notifications. Have you ever disabled notifications for Sighthound Video on your Android device from either within the application or within the Android settings? If you'd like to submit a bug report from within the desktop software from "...

Re: How Long Before Temp Files Are Deleted?

There are two options for renaming cameras, rename all legacy video as well, or consider this a "new location" and leave old video under the previous name. No matter what happened I will stress that you do not need to worry about disk space. Video will be managed according to the space quo...

Re: How Long Before Temp Files Are Deleted?

Hi Al,

All video is stored within the same directory structure, so it is highly likely 'older' files are persisted clips?

Yes, removing that folder would be as if you had never run the app before, though of course all configurations and settings would be removed as well.

Re: How Long Before Temp Files Are Deleted?

Hi Al, If you have "unknown" files due to renaming directories and the like they should be cleaned up automatically, though this will take some time. The application does not expect "unknown" files to crop up in its data directory often, so does not waste CPU cycles checking for ...

Re: How much bandwidth does your soft ware use

Hi cliffilowe, If I understand your question correctly you will have Sighthound Video installed at location A, and recording from a camera that is installed at location B. The amount of bandwidth used in this scenario will depend entirely on the video stream produced by the camera at location B. IP ...

Re: How Long Before Temp Files Are Deleted?

Hi Al, As you note the contents of Sighthound Video's data directory are not intended to be interacted with by anything or anyone other than the application itself, and doing so may result in a variety of problems such as crashes or data loss. I'm not sure what you're trying to learn or accomplish b...

Re: High CPU Load on Yosemite?

Hi bacoboy, I'm afraid it's impossible to tell from just this screenshot. My suspicion is that your machine had been off for quite some time, and when the application was launched again it had a great deal of cleanup/maintenance/bookkeeping to do which it normally would have been able to do in real ...
