Re: Question before I purchase your software and gear!

It would depend on whether the cameras were exposed as separate native USB cameras to the OS or not, though given the remote and software included I would guess it is instead a proprietary communication method. If you can get one to try it's easy enough to find out, but I'm guessing that may not be ...

Re: Apo & recording

You can certainly close the user interface (visible portion) of the application and background processes will continue to run as long as a camera is enabled. You do need to launch the app (such as on startup), though we hope to offer running the application as a service in the future.

Re: Mac Firewall

You should only need to allow incoming and outgoing traffic on whatever port you selected when enabling remote access. It sounds like the rule may not be set up properly in the router config, or may only be allowing traffic originating from certain IP ranges. Does it work if you connect locally from...

Re: 3MP Camera Suggestions Anyone

Hi Carl, I'm afraid I can't speak to quality as I don't have access to any of these, but I would imagine that the Hikvision and TRENDnet should work in the application. The Dahua should as well but I'm not very familiar with that brand. While it isn't 100% guaranteed, Sighthound Video should be comp...

Re: Update broke cam

Hi unreal, Our software does not have the ability to change any settings whatsoever on your camera so it isn't possible for us to "break" the camera. While it would potentially be possible that different versions of our software may have a bug that would prevent connections to a given came...

Re: Problem App Android

Please verify that you are running version 1.0.2 of the Android application, as that will likely fix any trouble with push notifications you are encountering.
