Re: Camera picture Glitches

I gather that your comment is implying that we haven't contacted Foscam, but I assure you, we have. I wouldn't expect a given employee at any camera manufacturer to know what Sighthound is. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, the cameras exhibit the same glitchy behavior in other software, as wel...

Re: Mac Firewall

I'm afraid an error report wouldn't help as any firewall blocking or interaction is completely external to our application. Unfortunately the OSX firewall is simply broken as far as I can tell. Our application is signed with an apple certificate - you can verify that it is signed from the command li...

Re: Mac Firewall

Hi OCB, Sorry to hear you're still having issues, I haven't heard from anyone yet who the new release hasn't cleared up firewall issues for, so I'm afraid I don't have any solutions to offer. What version of OSX are you running? We can try to reproduce something on your version. Unfortunately the bu...

Re: Remote Access Problem

Hi Tom,

The 10.7 fix has not made it into a public release, but I sent you a direct message with how to address the issue. The next public update is undergoing testing at the moment.

Re: Progress?

Thanks for the info. There's a lot of work that will be done on remote access as a whole in future updates. In immediately pending news, there is a version of the Android app in testing that has a toggle allowing you to switch off HLS/H.264 for a much faster startup but higher bandwidth live stream ...

Re: Progress?

Are you using iOS or Android (or browser)? And are you referring to clips, live view, or both? There's a lot we'd like to do with the mobile apps and remote access in general, so rest assured that improvements will certainly be coming. If you let me know what specific trouble you're having we'll loo...

Re: Windows version works fine, Mac version doesn't

Hi Tom, I'm investigating this on OSX 10.9 and I'm afraid I haven't been able to reproduce it. I've created a number of passwords with '-' at the beginning, middle, or end and am able to successfully connect each time. If you have any other insight into this I'd be happy to try to figure out what ma...

Re: How do I increase sensitivity

There aren't any sensitivity controls in the application. Does your camera have a very low frame rate? You would see a warning icon next to the camera in the monitor view.
