Re: 4:3 versus 16:9 Aspect ratio?

Hi Ian, In both the Monitor View and the Search View you can resize the video window (and entire application frame) to be whatever size you would like. Within whatever size is available for the video window Sighthound Video will always make the image as large as possible and preserve the aspect rati...

Re: Animated gif in email

I do like the idea of a series of images, a gif, or tiny clip. Certainly something that would be a possibility in future releases.

Re: Applescript

We definitely want to add scripting integration, though as we'd like something that would work on Windows as well the primary API will not be applescript based. We will still consider possibilities of an additional applescript interface, or an applescript interface to the current application as a pr...

Re: Issue with the Remote Server

Hi chrisrf, Sorry to hear you're encountering issues with remote access. If the dialog continuously displays "Starting..." it indicates that the web server is unable to launch. This could be due to several different reasons, from a different application hosting something on the specified p...

Re: Avtech AVM542B - wrong stream

Hi Johan, I'm afraid I'm not sure quite what you mean by "Sighthound sees only profile 2". If the url of /cgi-bin/guest/Video.cgi?media=H264&channel1&stream=1 loads a given video stream in any media player such as VLC or Quicktime, that is also the same stream that Sighthound Video...

Re: Avtech AVM542B - wrong stream

Hi Johan, The only AVTech camera currently configured in the application, the AVI321, is set to connect to a stream path of /cgi-bin/guest/video.cgi Thanks for letting us know about this URL, I'm more than happy to add this model to our application if you confirm it works correctly with your new URL...

Re: New Iphone app - alerts not working

Hi Steve,

Apologies, I guess I'm confused about what you're describing. You mention that that the alerts screen is empty but you see the appropriate counts for each rule ("24 new") is correct?

Re: New Iphone app - alerts not working

Hi Steve, Thanks for the information. We will look into this. It may be the case that the badge is not updating in some cases, but if you go to the alerts screen you should still see what rules were triggered with the count for each - that screen is independent from what a badge may indicate. If you...
