Re: Timestamp option in Version 4.0?

I maximize the IE-11 window and click your embedded image and it gets taller, but not wider and there is no horizontal scroll bar so the referenced link is not visible.

Re: Timestamp option in Version 4.0?

I've attached a screenshot highlighting the previous version link. If this link isn't present for you please try temporarily disabling any browser extensions or using a different browser and let us know - we're not aware of any incompatibilities but we'll fix any that may exist. I don't see the ref...

Re: Record when PC active

I assume you mean "is active"... Just like your stove won't cook something unless the burner under the pot is turned on, the computer cannot move data from the camera to the harddrive unless it is turned on and running a program to perform that process. SightHound is a program that can run...

Re: Image quality, camera's interface web site vs Sighthound

If both images are being displayed on the same monitor is has to be something with the stream being sent to the two programs (browser viewing the home page stream, and SightHound viewing a different stream). You can alter camera's setup in SightHound to store the video in a different resolution and ...

Re: Camera control

SightHound does not provide control of any camera's PTZ (or anything else). To control an IP cam (network cam, like your Foscam), right click on the view screen (if more than one camera you can use any thumbnail of the desired camera for this) and select the "Visit camera web page" link at...

Re: Storage configuration

Yes, if you are running a Windows PC you can create a "Junction" to point a filename in one folder at another folder/drive. This forum thread: https://www.sighthound.com/forums/topic12202/page10.html USED TO contain full instructions for how to do it, but that part of the thread got delete...
