I am using 2 PC's running Windows 10 Home 64 bit... one is connected to the internet and is kept up-to-date by MS (has not been updated to the "Creator's Update"... still using Version 1607 OS build 14393.1198), but I don't have SightHound on it. The other has SightHound, but is not connected to the internet, so it is not up-to-date (still on version 1607, OS Build 14393-447... since it is not connected to the internet, SightHound is stuck at Version 2.5.1 because the later versions require it to "phone home" to enable the license)
On BOTH of my PC's I don't see the same "Settings" dialog box that you show. Where you show:
Override high DPI scaling behavior.
Scaling performed by:
Application v
(A checkbox to the left of the upper 2 lines and the bottom line being a drop down selection box.)
I have only one line:
Disable display scaling on high DPI settings
(a checkbox to the left of it.)
But, Sighthound does not change its behavior regardless of the setting of that checkbox... the list of clips is the same both ways.
I am guessing here now, maybe it has to do with the Video display drivers being different between our systems. Your display is a much higher resolution than either of mine (1920x1080 and 1600x900).
The graininess of images is possibly more dependent on the resolution of the camera(s). What resolution camera(s) are you using? Do you have SightHound set to work with the best available from the camera(s)? Since I am not running the latest and greatest version of SH, I don't follow the latest improvements well, but I vaguely remember something about it storing video in either a low resolution or a high resolution (it uses the low resolution for motion detection, but saves the video in a higher resolution... ??? ) Maybe that has something to do with it.
