A couple of ways...

1) Wend your way through the disk drive folders (in Winders that is: "C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Sighthound\") to the ARCHIVE folder and the subfolder for the camera of interest, then to the day desired and copy the file you want. Works but requires you to do lots of clicking and interpretation of the file names to get the video desired.

2) In the Search mode, select just one camera from the list. Then play the video before the desired time frame. When the video completes, click the Play button again and it will start playing the video "between" that clip and the next one. You can click the +"0:02" button to advance faster or drag the timeline marker forward. When you get to the section you want, click Stop (if necessary) and then right-click in the large video window and select Export video from the menu that appears. NOTE: you will get just a 2 minute video from this... one minute before the presently displayed frame and one minute after. Drag the time-line pointer ahead TWO minutes and export again if you want more. Use a video editing program to sew the exported files together if you want just one long video output.

You can also select the video AFTER a detected event and drag the timeline marker to the beginning and then press the "-0:02" button to rewind to the preceding video segment and continue clicking that button to back up some more or drag the timeline pointer further back.

I do this sometimes to enhance the video brightness or contrast to see things that were too faint or small for the program to detect prior to or after the actual detected event.
