I don't think U have the right to use a "hidden camera" to watch over Ur house sitter. U'd battter comfirm Ur suspect through other method or simply fre her. Interesting how you say there is no right to use a hidden camera, yet your posting is actually an advertisement for selling hidden ...

It is not the physical size of the display that limits the view of windows, it is the "resolution" of the display. I suspect that your display is set to 640x480 resolution if you cannot see the green ON light below the video space of VDV. You are also missing more below that and some more ...

Can you tell us a bit more info as to how to find this information? The link you supply is only to to an advertisement for a camera retailer in South Africa and in a quick perusal of the site I could not find any reference info like you describe. It only shows Panasonic hand-held cameras for sale.

Sorry no one has replied sooner. I had to widen my screen considerably to be able to view the image you posted to realize what was wrong. Mighty strange! It seems to be flipped vertically and I thought at first that it is a feature of some cameras so they can be mounted upright on a table or flipped...

Unfortunately, there is no "ignore headlights reflecting off of stuff" setting. However there are various things you can try that can help eliminate false alerts. You can set a location in which to detect motion to eliminate other areas. You can only set 1 area for each rule, but the shape...

Note that is not a weatherproof housing so it will need to be mounted in some sort of enclosure or behind a window in the house or garage. But if mounted behind a window, be careful that the infrared lights don't reflect...

I am obviously at a disadvantage in trying to help you, since I don't have that brand/model of camera, or that nice of a computer. I am just a satisfied VDV user trying to help you. I think you have two seperate problems that may or may not be caused by the same source. I agree, from the specs of th...

When I first started using VDV I was unable to read the MP4 files with any program I had, but now I can open them with Windows Media Player, so something got updated to handle them since then. Windows Update fixed the problem at some time as I know I didn't go searching for a solution. Now I have ne...

I am guessing that the problem of the camera not allowing both full video streaming to VDV and letting Guest accounts access the camera to obtain snapshots might be more of a problem with the camera. I have a TrendNET camera that I can access via VDV and simultaneously view the same video with anoth...

I am just a user of VDV and don't really know all of the capabilities of VDV, but I don't think it can do what you want. I do have some ideas to accomplish your objective. Some border on the side of ludicrous, but I'll suggest the less so anyway  . You could put some sort of device in the fiel...
