Re: remote viewing app

Hi mweston, If you are unable to connect to your external IP from within your network, then it would appear your router does not support NAT loopback (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_address_translation#NAT_loopback ) Remembering IP addresses as well making logging in simpler are things we ...

Re: Multiple Home monitoring

Hi Behman,
Better support for multiple logins, in conjunction with making the mobile app easier to set up and use in general are both on our wish list of items to add in a future release.

Re: Free version

Hi bill, The mobile app connects to the desktop app, so you will need to enter the external address of your network (should be the same as your camera) along with the port that you have Sighthound Video pointed to. Please see the following article for more details on how to enable remote access in t...

Re: Free version

Hi bill, Are you using the "external address" link in the remote access tab, or did you have to manually forward a port? If you manually opened a port, you can use the following website to verify that the port was successfully opened: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ Please tr...

Re: Multiple Home monitoring

Hi Behman, You can access cameras from another location if you set up port forwarding on the router they are connected to. For example, lets say your vacation homes external address is 75.75.75.75 and you forward port 8888 for "camera a". From any other network you will be able to enter &q...

Re: VStarcam HD IP Camera not connecting

Hi Carlosbeginnerscam,

I did a little research and I believe you can use the "Foscam (other MJPEG - type A)" setting or possibly the "Foscam (other - H264)". If those do not work, try experimenting with the other Foscam presets.

Re: Advice on settings

Hi 303, Below is an example of how you can use the "on top of" region option for your first two examples. I'm unsure of where the "back path to the deck" is exactly so this is just a guess of how it could look. Screen Shot 2014-05-14 at 12.14.06 AM.png This eliminates false posit...

Re: Option to make time/date stamp smaller

Hi BrettC, Thanks for the feature request! Customization of timestamps (general date format as well as font/size etc...) is something we would like to add in a future release. In the meantime, many cameras have a timestamp option available on the configuration page which may provide the options you ...
