Re: Can only connect to one Logitech C920

Hi Paul, Sorry you're having trouble. I know there have been a few times in the past where two identical cameras would not work together, or might work poorly together, but before jumping down that line of thought here are a few quick troubleshooting suggestions: Can you open both cameras at the sam...

Re: Cannot connect to camera

Hiya Dave, If you can access the camera from an IP in the browser that same IP should work within VDV. That being said, I am not overly familiar with the eyespy cameras, or any setup/configuration changes you have done to make it accessible outside your network. One quick suggestion I'm sure you've ...

Re: [Bug reported] Automatically reverse the webcam feed

Hi thirdoff,

When you view the stream from another media player such as Quicktime or VLC, how does the image appear? I have not used webcamXP, but it appears to support rotation of the stream, you could use this as a workaround in the meantime.

Re: 3rd party iPhone, iPad and iOS app now available

I was able to register an account with the new version, but when I try to select my computer in the iPhone app I get an unable to connect to location error. I'm on the road but can message you later if that is helpful.

Re: 3rd party iPhone, iPad and iOS app now available

Hiya Alistair, I tried registering an account, but it said something about not being able to connect to your server to complete the registration. I'd tell you exactly the error, but now when I hit the "Login or register" button it takes my browser to http://cloud.ivdv.net/insecure/registra...

Re: PCI cameras

Hiya DrBob. I'm happy to help, but I'll need a bit more info to know where to start. Did you replace your computer's hard drive and reinstalled the OS and VDV, or have you moved your PCI card and cameras to a new computer? What model card/cameras do you have? Are they being recognized by any program?

Re: Foscam and Belkin

Hi runwolf, Glad you found a fix for your problem! As far as trying to record to your router and turn off your computer, I'm not sure what you are trying to do. Vitamin D can only operate if it started and running on the computer it was installed on, if you turn off your computer it will stop with it.

Re: Lorex LNC104 'Live Ping'

I had trouble finding anyone streaming from this camera to anything other than the bundled software. Best I could find is someone claming that "rtsp://ipaddress:554" might work. In the VDV camera configuration this would be protocol: rtsp, blank port (default is 554), a blank stream path, ...

Re: Will there be a multiple PC license option?

Hi lohearn,

I can't really speak to what might happen but we will definitely take this feedback into consideration when making changes to the licensing terms in the future.

Re: Looking for video between clips, not saving everything?

Great! Glad that's all the problem was. :-) I suspect that the reason you're only hitting 285 gigs is that this is all your computer needs for 15 days of video? It should creep up over time as more clips persist past this, but that speed will depend greatly on how many clips are generated per day an...
