Hiya John, I'm having trouble finding information about your particular camera. Do you happen to have the manuals? If not, or if it doesn't have the relevant information you might try contacting the manufacturer. Information about the type of data needed can be found in: http://vitamindvideo.com/for...

Re: Resolved: Problem with manual configuration

I am having trouble finding any information on this. If you are using "rtsp://<ip>:554/user=admin&password=mypassword&channel=1&stream=0.sdp?real_stream" elsewhere, in VDV did you fill in the username and password fields in the setup, or are you relying on them being in the str...

Re: Windows 8 compatible?

While I personally don't have a win8 machine, we do have have a number of users running on Windows 8 without trouble. All "windows 8" related bugs we've received have thus far turned out to be normal OS or initial setup problems: virus scanner, security settings, machine set to go to sleep...

Re: IP Cam FOSCAM FI9820

The default rtsp port is 554 while it appears you are trying to use 3000 from outside access. Please make sure that you have your router forwarding 3000 to the correct port for your camera, and that in your remote VDV you've set the port to 3000 on configuration.

Re: IP Cam FOSCAM FI9820

Hi, I'm afraid I don't understand the error messages you are seeing. You enter the rtsp information into VDV, click next, and then see these messages? What program is displaying these error messages? VDV is entirely self contained with regard to video streaming/decoding, so it sounds like either you...

Re: IP Cam FOSCAM FI9820

Please make sure that you have a username and password filled in.

With http as the protocol please try the following stream paths:
video.cgi
videostream.asf
iphone/11

If those don't work, with rtsp as the protocol please try the streampath:
11
