Re: MINIMUM camera resolution

80x45 is quite small and while Sighthound Video should be able to record from it I'm afraid it wouldn't be able to detect anything. Surely your wife deserves a higher resolution... Most importantly, even with a high resolution thermal camera I can't really give an answer as to how things would work....

Re: Can't / Won't Connect

Are you only having connection issues in Sighthound Video, or are you unable to connect to the camera at all? If you cannot even connect directly to the camera's webpage it is likely that the IP address has changed in the router switch, for example now being found at 192.168.1.123 vs. 192.168.1.5 on...

Re: Detection Of Specific Person Using API?

Documentation for the recognition API and sample code can be found at these locations: https://www.sighthound.com/docs/cloud/recognition/ https://www.sighthound.com/products/cloud/recognition/tutorial You can certainly load a URL link after detecting a match but this would be handled by your applica...

Re: API to disable alerting or cameras

I'm afraid I can't offer a resolution as there is no way to accomplish what you are asking within the application at this time.

Re: Change stream resolution based on LAN or WAN access

Hi JPElectron, Thanks for the request. There are many improvements we'd like to make around remote access and we've been discussing items like this one recently. One question if you don't mind - Given that remote access streams are important to you, how much free CPU do you have on your system, and ...

Re: Do I post here or via app for technical support?

If someone without a support contract submits a bug report or crash report it won't just fall into the void - we see everything and will respond as appropriate for the situation, even if that is to point to forums. We certainly don't want to discourage anyone from submitting a crash report as we'd l...

Re: Auto update...

What operating system are you running? There was unfortunately a conflict with the auto-updater under macOS 10.12 Sierra. This should be resolved in 4.0.2 so that future releases install as expected, but this build containing the fix must be downloaded and installed manually. Apologies for the incon...

Re: Seriously slow performance

That's quite odd to hear. Is there a specific part of the application that you feel is performing more slowly in 4.X vs 3.X? Is it sluggishness within the app, noticing higher CPU usage in general, or something else?

What type of video streams are you connecting to?

Re: 3V3C camera and 1080i?

What stream are you connecting to in BI? A manual entry, or something also configured over ONVIF?
