Re: Combine activity into single clip?

Hello wetsnapper,

There currently isn't a way to combine clips in Sighthound Video. Are you by chance using a region or boundary rule? These can create several clips if someone stops right on the edge of a region or boundary.

Re: activation

Hi watchingyou,

Are you able to log into these cameras configuration web pages? If so, they likely will list the manufacturer and possible the model numbers of the cameras. Without knowing the manufacturer or model number I'm unable to find the stream settings for your cameras.

Re: Frame Rate in recorded clips

Hi JohnS,

That is correct - Sighthound only uses 10fps for it's detection and tracking, so if your camera is sending a higher frame rate it will not improve the accuracy. Having a frame rate lower than 10 fps will decrease the accuracy, so you will not want to go lower than 10.

Re: activation

Hello watchingyou, Unfortunately I'm unable to find any information on "Jabcam" cameras. Are there any model numbers or brand names on the camera itself? We do have several pre-configured settings for Wansview cameras. During the camera setup please try each of the Wansview preconfigured s...

Hi watchingyou, I'm glad to hear you were able to log in and download Sighthound Video. What are the manufacturer and model numbers of the cameras you are attempting to connect to Sighthound Video? Are these new cameras that you are setting up with Sighthound, or have you previously connected to the...

Re: Frame Rate in recorded clips

Hi JohnS,

Sighthound's detection and tracking doesn't become more or less accurate with higher frame rates coming in. We usually recommend setting cameras to as close to 10 fps as the camera allows as this will result in less bandwidth usage on the network.

Re: Frame Rate in recorded clips

Hello JohnS, Does the video appear choppy or sluggish? Sighthound does save the video at 10fps, though the video should still appear smooth at this frame rate. If you could email one of your clips to support@sighthound.com I'll be happy to investigate it to see if any other factors may be degrading ...

Re: activation

Hello watchingyou, I'm sorry to hear you've encountered this issue. We never received your email as our email address is support@sighthound.com, not support@sightsound.com. I have a few questions for you as this is the first we've seen this error message: * What web browser are you using? * Have you...
