Hi wetsnapper,
It sounds like you're using the default "Any object, anywhere" rule. Are you referring to many clips being generated in the search view of Sighthound Video, or in the actual files on disk? Sighthound's data files are not intended to be directly interacted with and don't line up with what you see in the application in a way that you might anticipate.
If you would like to export files for sharing or archival, you can right click a clip and choose export. You can also configure a response to automatically send clips matching a given rule to a local directory or to an ftp server:
https://www.sighthound.com/support/export-local-folderhttps://www.sighthound.com/support/rule-editor#ftpIf you're referring to clips as displayed in the application, these should not be subdivided by a momentary pause, though if someone is completely stationary for a long period of time (on the order of 15 seconds, not 1) they will stop being tracked until they move again.
Best,
- ryan
