hi, i am a new member here. the problem is that i have tried to download the application, and have recieved the link to complete the download, but everytime i try to use the link to activate my membership, and to continue to the download site, i keep getting the message APACHE TOMCAT ERROR 404. I have googled this, and it says that the problem is with the site, not my pc. is there anyway that you can help with this. Many thanks

Hello watchingyou,

I'm sorry to hear you've encountered this issue. We never received your email as our email address is [email protected], not [email protected].

I have a few questions for you as this is the first we've seen this error message:

* What web browser are you using?
* Have you tried using any other web browsers?
* Are you able to log in to https://www.sighthound.com/account/

Regards,

-Devin

Hi watchingyou,

I'm glad to hear you were able to log in and download Sighthound Video. What are the manufacturer and model numbers of the cameras you are attempting to connect to Sighthound Video? Are these new cameras that you are setting up with Sighthound, or have you previously connected to them with other software?

Regards,

-Devin

hi, i have been using the cameras {2} for some time now. i can view the cameras with I.E. and with Google. i have two different lots of software for them. 1 cam, i tink its a jabscam, has NVS software the other, is a wansview, i think, it is called searchtool, [not sure who makes this]. both are wireless cams, and are on my own Network, configured through my Router. when i try try connect with your prog. it says cannot connect, not sure why. thanks

Hello watchingyou,

Unfortunately I'm unable to find any information on "Jabcam" cameras. Are there any model numbers or brand names on the camera itself? We do have several pre-configured settings for Wansview cameras. During the camera setup please try each of the Wansview preconfigured settings, as many different models share the same stream settings. If none of those settings work please check the camera for a model number and I'll be happy to investigate further.

Regards,

-Devin

Hi watchingyou,

Are you able to log into these cameras configuration web pages? If so, they likely will list the manufacturer and possible the model numbers of the cameras. Without knowing the manufacturer or model number I'm unable to find the stream settings for your cameras.

Regards,

-Devin
