Re: Vitamin D Agent quit unexpectedly

> On OSX the data storage directory is: /Users/<your user name>/Library/Application Support/Vitamin D Video/ Can I just rename this folder? You can rename and later restore this folder to save the state of Vitamin D, though this isn't officially supported as a few things can go wrong if not done co...

Re: Vitamin D Agent quit unexpectedly

Hi classicshotokan, Before you remove everything (or you can wait until after you re-install to see if it is still happening), you might want to go to the "Help" menu and choose "Report a Problem". This will send us some logs that might help us better troubleshoot your problem. O...

Re: Multipal schedules

Hi Carl, Since I'm not sure what sort of schedule you're trying to create I'll first point you to the following documentation: http://www.vitamindinc.com/support/ref_guide_tips_23.html http://www.vitamindinc.com/support/ref_guide_monitor.html#schedule These will allow you to create schedules such as...

Re: People and Unknown object detetion issues

Hi Paul, If you look at the video clip, did you ever see a green box outlining anything in the scene? Yellow boxes correspond to people, green to everything else (unknown). It could be that something else in the scene was momentarily detected as an object, or perhaps the truck began small and distan...

Re: Alert triggers when camera is armed

Thanks for the in depth response semper! Auto focus can definitely be problematic. As I mentioned in a different post on USB cameras - Autofocus is great for video chat where you don't mind a bit of blurriness for a second. To a vision algorithm, however, it appears as though suddenly the entire sce...

Re: Lotus Notes/BlackBerry attachment issues.

Hi Vitsol,

If you configure your blackberry to get your comcast or gmail accounts do the images show up on the device? It is possible that your BES administrator has blocked certain types of image attachments or that it is configured to strip out parts of standard multipart/mixed messages.

Re: Struggling to Connect to Foscam Fl8908W

Hi errellion, If you have it working on your LAN the only things you should need to change to view it remotely would be the IP address and the port number (if it isn't 80). You shouldn't need to alter the streampath or other settings. I've definitely done this with DNS routing services such as dyndn...

Re: Problems maintaining connection to ip camera

Hi Jayoungh, Glad a reboot fixed things for you! We don't have a linux version, as much as I'd like to say that we do. It takes far more time supporting two OSs and their variants than I imagined it would, the thought of adding X numer of linux distros makes my head hurt a bit thinking about it... I...

Re: Logitech Alert 750i and 750e?

Hi Vidgizmo, I don't have access to these cameras unfortunately. I did a bit of googling and it looks like people are having mixed success with media applications (such as vlc) streaming with the following addresses: rtsp://ip_address/HighResolutionVideo rtsp://ip_address/LowResolutionVideo These mi...
