Multipal schedules

by carldickson » Tue Nov 23, 2010 3:38 pm

Hi,

It would be great to have finer control over the schedule as I dont want to be alerted when I go and return from work, is there anyway of doing this?

Thanks

Hi Carl,

Since I'm not sure what sort of schedule you're trying to create I'll first point you to the following documentation:
http://www.vitamindinc.com/support/ref_ ... ps_23.html
http://www.vitamindinc.com/support/ref_ ... l#schedule

These will allow you to create schedules such as "Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am-3pm". If you want to create more detailed schedules ("Monday, 10am-11am, 1pm-2pm") the best way to do this is to duplicate the rule and give each instance a different schedule. In the Search View select the rule you wish to duplicate, click the "duplicate" button beneath the rule list, and give the rule an appropriate name. Then go to the Monitor View, select the appropriate camera, and set the schedules on each rule.

If I'm interpreting your situation correctly, lets say you leave for work ~8:30am, and return home ~5:30pm. You could configure the first instance of the rule to be scheduled from 8:45am-5:15pm and the second instance from 5:45pm-8:15am.

Hope that helps!
