Re: do not see where “Preferences in the Remote Access tab”

You would need to create a new port forwarding setup as I mentioned in my previous port, this is unrelated to your cameras or anything you may have set up previously. For example, if your Sighthound Video computer is 192.168.1.100 and you configured remote access in Sighthound Video to run on port 9...

Re: do not see where “Preferences in the Remote Access tab”

Presumably you have port forwarding set up for some other service on your router, and would want/need to select a new port and make a new entry for Sighthound Video. If you select "9000" as the remote access port in Sighthound Video it will be accessible on the local network at sighthound_...

Re: Multiple Drive Recording

Hi Jeffrey, In the licensed versions of the application you can have clips matching a given rule be exported via ftp or to a local/networked drive, one of those might satisfy your use case? For more details please see the following help articles: http://www.sighthound.com/support/export-local-folder...

Re: Timestamp problems

Hi Daniel,

To follow up, I believe I just found and fixed this issue. Timestamps should be working for you in the next release of the software.

Best,

Re: Blurry Timestamp on Exported Videos

Hi Dalaubon, We're not aware of any issues with timestamps and export. Certainly the 320x240 resolution of the clips will have some impact, depending on what viewer you're using. Attached is a screenshot of video recorded at 320x240 being played back in the app at 640x480, overtop of which I am play...

Re: Continuous recording

Hi Midrik, Sighthound Video does continually record video for the amount of time specified by the "Temporarily keep all video for up to:" setting in preferences. After that time period, segments of video that did not match rules with a "save" response will be deleted. Full detail...

Re: Error connecting to the server

Hi Behman, The iOS app to Sighthound Video desktop application is a closed system, it isn't running through any external servers, so there isn't any sort of outage that can occur. When you note that your IP address has not changed, have you confirmed that both the IP address of your computer on the ...

Re: iPhone App

Glad to hear it! iOS tip for the future - if you ever want to kill an app to ensure it is running from a "clean state", you can double tap the home button to bring up the "recent apps" overlay, swiping up on an app will remove it from this list and terminate it if it was still in...

Re: iPhone App

Hi Scott, Do you have any special characters in your username or password? If so you may want to try without and see if that fixes the issue (I was unclear from your followup post if you had or not). We've had 4 prior reports of what you describe - 3 were the space/special character in the username/...
