Re: Camera signal seems corrupt.

josephtaylor1995, What type of camera are you using? It looks like the camera is using a video mode that Vitamin D Video is having trouble decoding. Here's what I would suggest: try changing the video settings on the camera. If you're using H.264, try MPEG4 or MJPEG. If you're using RTSP and can use...

Re: Pause camera activity to hibernate?

Donone, Hmmm, it's probably that Vitamin D's "disk cleaner" is what's causing all of the disk activity and keeping your system awake. The disk cleaner runs periodically and converts your "temporary video" into clips (so that only video that was marked for saving is kept in the en...

Re: Pause camera activity to hibernate?

Donone, If I'm understanding correctly, you've got your computer set to hibernate on a schedule want to prevent Vitamin D Video from waking your computer back up from hibernate. Normally, I wouldn't think that Vitamin D would cause the computer to wake up. I just tried this on my computer and it did...

Re: Still got no license key

OK, I think we found the problem. It turns out that we had an overactive SPAM filter in place in our support box. I've attempted to tune it down a little bit. I believe that Celeste has contacted you separately.

Sorry for the problems!

Re: Still got no license key

That's strange. The license should be sent automatically. Can you check your Spam folder to make sure it didn't end up there? If you can't find it, can you send me a private message with the information you used to register so that we can try to track down what happened? Thanks! Also, can you check ...

Re: Moving event videos only.

Jamie, At the moment this is not possible in Vitamin D Video. We've talked about having a response to "Export Video" response but haven't implemented it yet. Until it makes it into the app a workaround would be to run an ftp server on your machine and have it store the files in your desire...

Re: Sending pre-recorded video through Vitamin D

ComputerUser, We actually experimented with this a bit, but ran into quite a few problems to get it to work well. Specifically: ⋅ The postprocessing was quite slow. Putting a full month of video through the motion detection could take a long time. ⋅ Vitamin D Video is really desi...

Re: launch Vitamin D video as a service

Lamarzeitoun,

Sorry! Vitamin D Video doesn't run at a service at this time. We've got it on our list, though, since a lot of people would like it.

Re: this video is not valid for streaming to this device

Martin,

I just tried this on my HTC Evo Shift 4G (Android 2.2). It worked OK there. I think it might just be that the older version of Android can't read the video files that Vitamin D Video produces... Sorry!
