Re: Access to email stills

Hi Goose, Yes, the email response is the only method of receiving a still image of an event. You mentioned that you were a new user so I'm unsure if you're aware of our remote access feature. With remote access you can view a list of clips for each or all of your rules with thumbnails of the event. ...

Re: Reverted to defaults

Hi sightbeagle, As Semper mentioned, tampering with Sighthound Video's files is not supported and can cause severe problems which we may not be able to help you recover from. If you've been altering the pref files it's hard to say what exactly has happened. Typically users will select to keep video ...

Re: Access to email stills

Hi Goose, At this time there isn't any other way to sending or exporting an image of an event. However, we do have several responses other than sending email notifications: * Export clip to an FTP server * Export clip to a local folder (can be synced with cloud service) * Send a mobile notification ...

Re: Lost access to non-rules video

Hi JohnS,

It sounds like you may have "Any Camera" selected in the Search View. In order to access to temporary video between clips you must have an individual camera selected.

Re: Direction recognition

Hi mbruck, You can set up as many rules as you'd like. There are several options for rule configuration with which you should be able to accomplish this. Rules trigger each time an event occurs. For example, if two people enter through your door at nearly the same time, the rule will trigger twice. ...

Re: Direction recognition

Hi Mladen, If you haven't already, you can keep track of how many people enter and exit a door by creating two rules using the "Entering scene through a door" and "Exiting scene through a door" (see https://www.sighthound.com/support/rule-editor#door). With these two rules you ca...

Re: CPU Compare

Hi shadowbit1234, I'm unfortunately not great at camera recommendations as when I have access to specific models it's usually just for testing and getting to a "does it work" point, rather than getting to review or live with the camera itself. The only comments I can really make confidentl...
