Hi!
I'd like to try count number of visitors which are come in or get out from specific object. I will mount camera above entrance door area. When visitor come into building (direction in) I'd like to generate event (increase some counter). And vice-versa when visitor go out of building (direction out) I'd like to generate event to decrease counter.
So Sighthound should be able to track several object in same area and to recognize direction movement for each.
I'd like to note that I'm programmer so it is not problem form me to catch tcp/ip message from other software.
Is this achievable ?

Hi Mladen,
If you haven't already, you can keep track of how many people enter and exit a door by creating two rules using the "Entering scene through a door" and "Exiting scene through a door" (see https://www.sighthound.com/support/rule-editor#door). With these two rules you can go to the Search View and the amount of clips generated for each rule will tell you how many people entered and exited. There currently isn't a way to have the increase/decrease count as you mentioned but you will get the number of people entering and the number of people exiting which you can subtract.
It is also possible to send an IFTTT trigger for each Sighthound rule. I'm unsure if there are any IFTTT compatible apps out there that can add and subtract from a counter, but if there is you should be able to accomplish your desired setup.

Using IFTTT I presume I can menage it.
This is general question, sometimes it would be a same door for two rules, and sometimes it would be two doors (one for in, and one for out) next to each other.

Hi mbruck,
You can set up as many rules as you'd like. There are several options for rule configuration with which you should be able to accomplish this.
Rules trigger each time an event occurs. For example, if two people enter through your door at nearly the same time, the rule will trigger twice.
IFTTT will work with any paid license (Basic or Pro).
