If you have an ipad you can project it to Apple TV now with remote viewing software. I've done that to impress my friends. You can also just use something like LIveCams Pro projected to Apple TV from your ipad. This requires a direct connection from LIveCams Pro to your cameras. I tried to get Sight...

I'd get a Mac Mini at a good price. They are plenty powerful to run Sighthound Pro and they are virtually silent with low energy consumption. Any Mac Mini with an i7 Quad Core processor and 16GB ram will work to run 10 cams at HD quality. Fusion Drive will help with performance if you can swing it. ...

Just wanted to let people know that WD now has the My Home 8, 12, and 16 TB external drives available on Amazon at great prices. I just bought the 16TB USB 3.0 version for around $540.
