Re: Can't login to the iphone app

Hi whitezryder,

Have you tried deleting the app from your phone and then downloading it again from the app store and reinstalling it? Go into Sighthound on your computer and in Preferences change your username and password. Then match that on your phone app. Give that a try. It worked for me.

Re: Changing from Logitech Alert

I will second the Hikvision cams for great value. I have 3 different 3MP models running with SH and they have been great. I especially like the Mini Bullet 3MP. Be sure to get the real Hikvision and not some white branded knockoff. All of my Axis 3-5MP cameras play well with SH and are a step up fro...

Re: Best CPU with lowest TDP for 3+ 1MP-Cameras?

I guess I've never thought about power consumption of computers as being a big deal but now you have me thinking. I found a table for Mac Pro that lists power consumption around 43W at idle and 200-250W at Max. Here is a table for Mac Pro power consumption. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2836 Powerfu...

Re: Best CPU with lowest TDP for 3+ 1MP-Cameras?

Well there is more than just the CPU that is sucking power. You need to look at the efficiency of your PSU, hard drives, the graphic card, fans, MB, any peripherals you have attached and the monitor you are projecting on for the complete picture of power usage. Why limit yourself to less power just ...

Re: Does Your Camera Work Great with SH? Get in Here!

Every Hikvision 3MP Cam I've purchased this year has worked well with SH. These are the best value cameras on the market right now in my opinion. For around $100.00 they perform as well as cameras in the $300-500 range. I am using the Bullet 3MP with IR Night Vision, Cube 3MP with IR Night Vision, a...
