Re: Can't login to the iphone app

I have a new iPhone 6 with iOS 8.0.2 and I'm unable to login to SH the last few days. It was working great on my old phone. I have to believe it has to do with the new iOS. My firewall has been off the entire time on the server computer. I get the same messages as the above, "Error connecting t...

Re: Need Help Advice

Sounds like you need something like Dropcam or the Samsung Smartcam Pro HD where the information is uploaded to an offsite server and you can access the feed from anywhere.

Most of your software programs like SH require port forwarding to perform remote viewing.

Re: Need Help Advice

You could also use GoToMyPC which would give you full access to their computer and router. I've used this to turn Sighthound cams on and off and view video from a remote location. Works good and I think there is a free version available now.

Re: 3MP Camera Suggestions Anyone

Thanks for the info cquin. Hikvision is the largest provider of IP cams/DVRs in the world now and yearly sales are over 1 Billion per year. Started in 2001 , they have over 9500 employees and are worth around 8 Billion dollars. That's crazy growth! Would be cool to see SH develop some special suppor...

Re: 3MP Camera Suggestions Anyone

I'm interested in Hikvision too. Hikvision DS-2CD2332-I 3MP EXIR Turret Network Camera Great reviews on Amazon but I don't know if they will run on SH yet. I like the larger IR / PIR/ and LED capability over the bullet cam mentioned above. I also like the smaller size and looks. Anyone using one yet...

My List

I'm really happy with the new SH and especially the higher resolutions. Great job to everyone involved in the new releases. I look forward to seeing the progression here and SH evolving into what I think it can. I've used other SW and here are a few things I'd like to see that made the experience in...

Re: zoom

I second all of these. The ability to pause the video and save a captured pic in both iOS and OSX would be great. Capturing a pic or manually starting a recording would be great in live view with mouse command. Sending video clip via email or text is not that big of a deal, but would be cool on iOS....

Re: Fish eye Cameras

I have 2 of the M3007P in service now with SH and 4 more waiting to be installed. I placed mine in the ceiling of my living room , for example, and I can see my entire room from 720p up to 5MP. You can configure these cameras easily to stream the dewarped views or go into the cameras browser and see...
