The thumbs are already cached in the current versions of Sighthound Video (starting with v5.1). If it is still being slow, please contact our support via Help -> Report a problem.

Unfortunately, there is no way to retroactively mark those clips as non-cache.

5.1.4 had indeed become less robust, when it comes to interoperability with some cameras - mostly Foscam - which send a somewhat non-standards compliant stream. The version correcting this, 5.1.5, had just been posted on the website and will become available via autoupdate shortly. A word of warning...

Indeed, this is a regression introduced in 5.1.1, and it will be addressed in the next point update within the next couple of days.

Hi Max&Leo, With the addition of ONVIF support, maintaining the configuration parameters for specific cameras had become much less relevant. Vast majority of the cameras on the market today support ONVIF, and can be configured this way. For those that do not, finding the RTSP URI is usually a Go...

The transition to the next clip during playback shouldn't be dependent on the speed. I've just tried, and the continuos playback seems to work fine regardless of the speed, so I wonder if something else is going on. Indeed, Sighthound Video 5.1 had been made public on 10/13, and can be downloaded and installed from the website.
It will be pushed to auto-update later this week.
