Latest Version - Unusable

Hi,

I have installed the latest version of Sighthound on my MAC, however, when running Sighthound, my MAC becomes totally unusable. Sighthound is using in excess of 14GB RAM on 2 cameras

Any assistance will be appreciated, since Sighthound forms a vital part of my home security setup.

The same for me. I have macOS 10.13.1 in mac Mini with 8GB memory. SH5.1.2 is eating all the memory there is. 5.1.1 uses max some hundreds of megs.

I needed to roll back to 5.1.1. 5.1.2 is not usable at all.

Earlier this morning, we’ve become aware that an incorrect binary was deployed for the automatic update of version 5.1.2. The binary exhibited a major memory leak on OSX. Binaries downloaded directly from the website were never affected.
To remediate the problem, and make sure all the affected systems receive a proper automatic update, we’ve released a version 5.1.3. Please upgrade as soon as you can, either through auto-update by clicking "Help > Check for Updates", of by downloading the new version from http://sighthound.com/download.
