Updated to latest version and my foscam FI9804w is broke

Updated to latest version and my foscam FI9804w no longer works. No matter what I try it says it can not connect. I have verified everything is working and my username and password have not changed. I can connect directly to the cameras interface.
The only thing that changed was my version of sighthound.
Any assistance you can provide will be appreciated.

Seem to be having this with my Sony camera after upgrading. My Foscam and Reolink are OK though.

Just rebooting machine, but could stream via VLC on the same machine so no connection problems that I could see immediately.

Downgraded back to 5.1.3 from 5.1.4 and camera works again.

Thanks I emailed support and installed the earlier version. It works. I am going to break it again and get send some logs.

This new update killed my Dahua camera connection, downgraded and now its back to normal. Def somthing not right in the 5.1.4

5.1.4 had indeed become less robust, when it comes to interoperability with some cameras - mostly Foscam - which send a somewhat non-standards compliant stream. The version correcting this, 5.1.5, had just been posted on the website and will become available via autoupdate shortly.

A word of warning for those who opt to revert to previous version: please use 5.1, as 5.1.1 and 5.1.3 may result in a premature deletion of video recorded while running these versions.

Same thing is happening with one my Sony cameras. Latest update killed it -- I can't get it to connect at all, though the web interface works fine, and I can view it (from the sighthound machine) using VLC.

Is the only solution to downgrade?

Edit: Ok, I seem to have my Sony camera back online by switching from H.264 to JPEG in the settings.

Edit 2: I need to learn to read . Installed the update, and it fixed the H.264 issue with the Sony camera.

We're still tracking issues with Foscam R2s in 5.1.5; hoping to resolve those next week. Other Foscams appear to operate normally, so please open a ticket with us, if yours doesn't.
