Re: IOS 11 and Sighthound APP issues

That works thanks. It is still slightly confusing though that the app shows 1.6 on the sign in screen , but in the about screen it shows 1.6 and 1.7 in the details (which I hadn't checked)

Re: IOS 11 and Sighthound APP issues

Just downloaded the latest version (meant to be 1.7) to get the compatibility back

However the actual version that is on the App Store still seems to be the same 1.6 so the problems remain

Re: IOS 11 and Sighthound APP issues

Major problem - the IOS app has automatically updated to 1.6 as part of the new App Store functionality in ios11, but in the release notes it says 'requires desktop version 4.0 or later' What are customers with earlier versions that are out of support supposed to do? Will you be issuing a fix? At th...

Re: Ignore Spider Web

I've had the same problem. The conclusion I have come to is that it is only a problem at night, due to the IR illuminator built in to the camera. I haven't been able to test it yet, but using a separate illuminator that was mounted away from the camera should solve the problem, as the web itself the...

Re: Ignore entire region (to save processing), et.al.

+1 for the main/substream feature , at the moment I have had to reduce the FPS settings on all my cameras due to CPU contraints. As you stated the problem is only going to get worse as the cameras all increase in resolution.

Re: Camera Offline Notification

I would say it is more than a feature request, it is almost a bug that cameras going offline are not detected. I have just had the same issue, some suspicious activity that was caught on one of my cameras but the camera that covered the area in detail was in its 'grey screen' mode. I have seen this ...

Re: Couple of Ideas

The regional option sounds really useful. At the moment SightHound it is a compromise to choose a minimum object size setting. It would also make sense if a maximum object size setting could be chosen, as sometimes I get false triggers from the camera switching from day to night mode, or from lens f...

Re: Auto-Switch main display to camera that has motion.

Nice feature.. I think some of the elements that you are looking for could be combined with what I asked for in the PTZ thread http://www.sighthound.com/forums/topic11541#p14444 Basically what I was looking for there was a rule that could be applied to make the camera pan/tilt/zoom when a boundary w...

Multiple computers for processing

I presume that this is something that is being considered for the enterprise version, but it would really help for the regular version as well. At the moment I have had to limit the resolution and frame rates on my cameras to prevent hitting 100% cpu usage, which if reached makes the iPhone app real...

Re: Delayed Intervals for Notifications

I have another option that could work for this. A 'pause' option for notifications from the camera would be useful. This means that the system stays at the same level of 'alertness' , i.e. notifies me about every event that I might care about, but in the event of me checking that the event has been ...
