IOS 11 and Sighthound APP issues

Hi Support

Since updating my iphone to IOS 11 half my cameras sit at the "connecting" and take 10 time longer to load under IOS 11. I have ran tests on the same network and same sighthound install as I have 2 iphone 6s the one on IOS 10 loads the cameras instanly the one on the IOS 11 build does not. I then tried my ipad pro all was great I updated to IOS 11 and all stopped working. I have 11 cameras 3 will load right away the other sit at "connection"

Same issue here. We need an IOS 11 Sighthound update please :-)

Hi Support

have you managed to make any headway on the IOS 11 cameras not connecting issue? I can't role back my iphone or Ipad so stuck until fix is found

I am having the same issue. Do you know when this will be fixed? The app was finally stable and working great then I took the iPhone update and now its pretty much useless.

Thanks for your patience. We've submitted an update with a fix which is awaiting approval from Apple. Once approved, you should see the update available in the app store.

Thank you for the prompt response. The update its working great.

In the future How this could be prevented? Should we hold off updating IOS devices till we get an all clear from you?
I have become rather dependent on the program from day to day and when it stops functioning its painful.

Major problem - the IOS app has automatically updated to 1.6 as part of the new App Store functionality in ios11, but in the release notes it says 'requires desktop version 4.0 or later'

What are customers with earlier versions that are out of support supposed to do? Will you be issuing a fix? At the moment I now have no access at all to my SH system other than through a browser.

Hi webloader,

There definitely will be a fix for that (looks like the behavior you've described affects version prior to 3.0). Can't commit to the timeframe today, but it is being worked on, so hopefully sooner, rather than later.
