Re: Arm and disarm cameras from external alarm input.....

Thanks. I'll check those out. This is pretty much a must for me to pop for the pro license.

Re: Human detection algorithm needs serious work....

Intresting. The nighttime one indeed has a very low frame rate because it's doing the usual integration of multiple frames to make a useable image. I can probably fix the second one. My primary video surveillance system is hooked up to all the cameras because of the advanced, albeit none object, mot...

Re: Human detection algorithm needs serious work....

Another odd example. This one just kept firing off over and over thinking my blank wall was a person: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Ii16k6tNU9TyoakfAQUsbq8227MrvHmYPG6AMa8KkRM?feat=directlink And this one where it thinks my dog is a person even though the ratio doesn't seem to come close to ...

Rule schedule around sunrise and sunset....

This seems to be missing. Every surveillance app and home automation app that allows you to set schedules for events/rules/etc always allows you to set end points based on sunrise or sunset +- x amount of time. Several of the camera sites aren't suitable for the current algorithm. I have hundreds of...

Re: Arm/disarm all cameras by calling REST service?

Devin, it's not about storage space. I have 12 cameras around my house. They're all setup on the trial Sighthound to detect humans and notify me through the app and through an email. When I disarm the alarm in the morning and go out to start working around the house, I can't have the system constant...

Re: Arm/disarm all cameras by calling REST service?

Guess I should have searched better before posting the exact same question.

So yea, this is a deal breaker. I was just all set to pop $250 for the pro license and then went to double check that the system could be armed and disarmed from an external http or json request.

Arm and disarm cameras from external alarm input.....

OK, so there are some annoying limitations but most of them I can live with or work around. However, unless I can arm and disarm the cameras from an external input somehow, that would be a deal breaker. If there is ANY way to do it externally, I can interface with that. Any http request would do jus...

Human detection algorithm needs serious work....

It's obvious that the algorithm is using an encompassing boxed ratio to detect the approximate proportions of a human in a rectangle, but this is rediculous: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/P8J0_J9gKAYmXPX7GrC1Qq8227MrvHmYPG6AMa8KkRM?feat=directlink A complete fail on what should have been an ...

Re: Android app keeps freezing

Also, this occurs whether running inside the home network or externally on 4g.

Activate different rule based on external input?

I have a number of PTZ cameras that will move to different set points based on motion sensors, perimeter laser photobeams, and motion detection of yet other cameras. I send http requests to the cameras from my home automation to move their location. I'd like to be able to add a rule for each locatio...
