Don't hold your breath... I (and MANY MANY others) have been asking for this most basic feature for YEARS. I believe it has more to do with the developers not wanting to wade into the waters of recording audio being illegal in some jurisdictions - which is absolutely ridiculous and akin to gun/ammun...
