Seems be problem connecting to my aircam on both mac & pc laptop at same time on my LAN, Mac finds it laptop finds it,loses it ,cant find it again ....eventually it finds it, video streaming is a bandwidth hog I think new users should be aware you need the new gigbit routers,plus high bandwidth ...

I have failed to set up FTP vid clip transfer to Dropbox discussed here, so i'm still clueless how to use FTP on Vit D?

None of other cloud storage sites allow FTP,
Amazon, MS skydrive,Google Drive

I did succeed setting up port forward,& dyns,now have access to the camera on my android app “IP cam viewer” outside my LAN With some help,I was able to set up FTP vid clip transfer to a domain site I pay for,not Dropbox discussed here, so it seems FTP is built into Vit D? gave up trying interar...

can anyone recommend an outdoor dome or bullet network cam,that works with Vit D under $300?

I also have problems getting correct clips from my rule..... under all objects, it records everything ,but under my rule- “someone coming through the door,”nothing recorded?

run into problems again, you said "to run an ftp server on your local machine with the destination the folder you wish the clips to wind up in " to assign ftp from Vit D, requires many input fields ,I have not found solution yet fillzila doesnt have ftp server for Mac ,only windows I tried...

On Vit D ,edit camera setting , we only have these options :
QVGA (320 x 240) VGA(640x 480)
or other 2 options

to avoid port forward, FTP setup, I followed your suggestion,to use Dropbox I changed Vit D save option to dropbox, you can play them in VLC or windows media player however we have to delete when nothing important was recorded question is Dropbox has file size limits,so whats recommended video setti...
