Have not been able to log into Sighthound remote viewing app on my iPad either from external IP locations or within my network, it says logging in, but goes nowhere!?

After alot of reading, the forums & your emails, I manually configured my router to forward sighthound to 192.168.1.xxx: to port 9000
and I turned off Mac firewall

now I can connect on ipad

More detailed ,with visuals, FAQ on using app on ipad & configuring routers ,would be helpful

the internal address of Mac,http://192.168.1.xxx:9000 pasted on IE,on PC will not open

I am running Sighthound Video on a PC AND a Mac,but cams are connected to the MAC

I entered that same address into a browser on ipad,just spins web page not available

correction: I get "logging in" when input internal IP .. but then nothing, should it go to another page ? I am able to connect from a PC & Mac on same home network, but not to iPad, under IP keeps getting errors If I enter external address, get “error connecting to server” using local ...

I’m able to connect to web server page, using user/passwd when click on LOCAL address, but I’m unable to connect on iPad app, using ip, from whatsmyip.org, to local/internal numbers

I assume this is I have to enter on preferences?
