If i save a video from a rule ,ie objects in specific area that ive set up notifications for,to local file (desktop folder) will sighthound access it as normal,as im now saving 2 hd streams to ext 1tb hdd and i think it may be easier for the system to serve me up rule clips over my mobile phone dire...

make sure you use the right ip , the local ip can give access via local network over web but wont work off your network .

Im wondering if writing 2 hd cameras to a remote (2-4 mtrs away) usb3 hdd at same time as reading from the same hdd to view clips remotly eg. will slow it to a crawl or give the sighthound prog too much to do ???

Is it possible to set a specific sound just for this ?
