I also bought the FI9831P. I also found it a bit of a pain to get set-up, but it works with Sighthound (I had to use the last camera option to make it work, did not work with foscam/other option). I agree, picture quality is very good.

Hi everyone. I got it to work after doing some more reading. I figured out you need to put your port number after your address into the app (such as ******.no-ip.org:8848) then type in your username and password like before.

You may have to go into your router settings and find "port forwarding." Enter in your internal IP address along with the port you are using for that camera. Then put your external/public IP address in the tab on your sighthound app. Give that a shot. However, as I asked in another post to...
