Scott,
Unfortunately I never got an answer from anyone on the forums if the Kuna could somehow work with SH. Maybe once it is out for a while, someone can answer that question - I would certainly love to be able to use it with SH so I don't have to dig my phone out, open the app, wait for it to load, and then see who is at the door (as well as have a copy of the footage on my local hard drive).. I did not realize when I bought it that you had to pay for a subscription ($10 a month to store videos to the cloud for 7 days each or $5 for 2 hours), but then again, much of everything seems to be going that way now days.
As for the light itself, it has much potential, but I will still consider the software to be in beta. They have no tech support number but I have found them to be very responsive and friendly with email. I believe this is an American product with support located here in the States as well, so that means a lot. The light itself is VERY well made, looks great, and was easy to install, but I had problems from the get go in getting the app to work with both ios AND android - different issues on both - and there is no Windows or Mac support

Once tech support helped via detailed email instructions, things ironed out.
There are issues I'm still having that I'm hoping are addressed in future firmware updates, such as false positives when it thinks someone is at the door (nothing new for most SH users!). Also, the compression codec they are using seems to favor bigger files as it seems my dsl has trouble playing it back (faster connections may have no problems). The two way audio communication would be awesome (the speaker quality is clear and pristine) if it didn't have such a horrible 15-45 second (!) delay - that makes it absolutely USELESS for this purpose! I've also set the light to turn off at dawn and on again at dusk but it's been staying on regardless. The tech support response with anything like this is to turn it off, wait 10-30 seconds and then turn it back on. Fortunately, I have an indoor wall switch I can do that with, but since there is no reset switch on the unit, others with direct power are just out of luck without flipping the breaker I suppose. Also, as with my IP cameras, WHO wants to keep having to reset this stuff, especially when it's vital to your home or business security?
So that's my take as of now. Again, as an early adopter, I'm curious to see if they'll stand by their product and continue to improve upon it. Time will tell.
