Re: How can Sighthound Video 6 Be Worse?

There is a real issue at the moment with headlight detection and like you, it is driving me mad.

Hoping for an update that addresses it soon.

Re: Email delay

Happens all the time for me. It is a bug in v6.0

Apparently it’ll be fixed in a future update.

Re: Web Hooks - How do I configure them ?

Mr Magoo could you please share your Node-Red flow? Also, does anyone know if it is possible to send a clip or image? Would love to pass a clip when a rule is triggered via the native iOS app in Home Assistant. That's essentially what I'll try to build using Node-Red if someone else hasn't already f...

Re: Rich Notifications via the App or IFTTT

Hi Steve, Thanks for mentioning. I recently installed Pushover into Home Assistant for exactly this purpose based on Motion Detection within the House. But, now that you've mentioned it - I should forward emails to Pushover for these notifications as well. Out of curiosity have you tested the latenc...

Re: Rich Notifications via the App or IFTTT

Just bumping this as it is now September in 2018 and I'm looking to migrate away from Sighthound due to lack of Rich Push Notifications.

Any insights on whether this is a feature that can be expected some time soon Stephen?

macOS Mojave support

Hey team, noticed an update from Apple that they'll be removing OpenCL and OpenGL support from macOS later this year with the release of Mojave. Does Sighthound depend on either of these libraries on macOS for processing? If I recall, Sighthound is primarily CPU driven correct? https://www.macrumors...

Rich Notifications via the App or IFTTT

Hi team, Look, love this application, and I am really appreciating the overhauled internals that have seen CPU usage plummet. However, lack of updates to 'small' things has been grinding my gears for a while. Not enough to bring me to posting publicly, until this past weekend when there was an incid...

Re: New subscriber - Remote Access Port Problems

Not sure if this will help but for some reason the installer for Sighthound doesn't add the right rules to the firewall for external access when it is first installed. Follow these steps to whitelist all of the exe's in the program folder so that it can properly communicate to your router and then t...

Re: 4.1 problems

Had a similar issue, didn't downgrade though - as I experienced this issue before upgrading to 4.0.1. Upgrading to 4.0.1 did not fix the issue. I have followed the steps to create a bug report. Would really appreciate this being fixed as soon as possible.
