Re: Timed disable cameras/rule

I do agree that there's a need to handle excessive triggers, and I do see two different implementations as there's two different issues. One is a temporary sleep function, just like you say, through the app, create a 30min sleep timer (kinda like your TV)... tap it once for 30min, twice for 60min, t...

Re: Ignore entire region (to save processing), et.al.

I just wish I could select more than one rule at a time. I'd like to select the rules for the 3 cameras that face different portions of the street so when I see something happen on one, I don't have to change the rule that is selected so I can follow whatever triggered the rule on one camera to ano...

Re: Ignore entire region (to save processing), et.al.

I'll revive / add my support to this request... I live on what I thought was a fairly quiet street and it turns out that 1507 cars drove by yesterday. While this is interesting statistics, it's still 1507 clips not saved by a rule that clogs up the search view, that's 1507 clips that got processed i...

Re: Can I buy 2x Basic license for a 3(or 4) camera setup?

For what it's worth, I did bite the bullet and bought the full license despite my complaints in the previous post.
Guess I have to install a lot more than four cameras now to make it worth it

Re: No updates, no support

I never ran V5 to any extent so I can't say whether or not it's on par with it but V6 is running OK. There hasn't been any updates since the initial release so I would assume that whatever bugs that has been reported still exists. For example, I could not get people passing a border to work where as...

"Run Command" not working ?

I've read through a couple of posts on the forum as well as the documentation and I can't really find anything that resolves the situation. I use the example straight out of the documentation, i.e. cmd.exe /c echo 'Event has occurred' >> C:\temp\events.txt It works just fine when I hit the test butt...

Re: Can I buy 2x Basic license for a 3(or 4) camera setup?

I'll take the bait and beat this poor dead horse some more.... I have mixed feelings about SightHound as it stands today. I LOVE the motion detection and the relatively small footprint (install size and amount of resources used when running) I do not like the timeline (or lack there of) view which m...

Bind to specific Network Adapter ?

Hello, New to Sighthound as I'm evaluating alternatives to my current NVR software. How do I select which network adapter to use for remote access ? (don't see any alternatives under Options >> Remote Access) Currently it's selecting the same network/adapter as my cameras which are on a separate VLA...
