Re: option to start with windows start

Hey Ryan
Has this happened... does sighthound core run as a Windows service negating the need to log in for recording to happen.

Re: What's new in Sighthound 4 ?

Not overly impressed with this update, wouldn't have thought it rated a new version number, just a sub-version.
Appears to be a little quicker, yet to find out about the detection engine.
US$50 is a lot to pay for a minor upgrade.

Accessing Sighthound via Reverse Proxy

I am using an Apache reverse proxy to access internal apps, the only issue is that Sighthound does not use relative paths in webpages and scripts. I was able to modify the webpages, so they are accessible externally, but the scripts are a different animal.

Please advise.

Re: Delayed Intervals for Notifications

I have trouble with this issue, in that when an event happens at a camera, I receive continuous notifications. I can see the issues with disabling those emails/notifications, but what if you were to simply set a time for them to be package sent after the initial one. this would stop multiple emails/...

Re: VDV Freezing issues

Thank you for your reply. I was pleasantly surprised this morning that they were still running no problems. I have upgraded the software before, maybe something has been sorted in the move to ver2. I have spent too much money to date on different appz, and VDV appears to be the best for lack of fals...

VDV Freezing issues

I was having issues with VDV freezing and wrote you about it. Your reply "Vitamin D Video does depend on a good stream of video frames, so if there are any drop outs or corrupt frames, this can cause issues with the app's algorithms." As a consequence, I stopped using it as a stalled App w...

Re: VDV Beta versions

Oops, my bad, was a response from another member.

A Webserver would IMHO be a great addition. Maybe the addition of API's will allow developmental of third party apps to handle that.

Thanks

Re: VDV Beta versions

Hi Ryan You mention Webserver in the Beta... Yipppeeeee. I am looking forward to this addition and going to update to Pro for my 4 camera's. That would make VDV a great package for the home user to monitor their property from off-site. One request to add to this is I use Apache Reverse Proxy to acce...

Re: Mirror / Flip feature?

The Foscam fi8918 is able to do this in the camera UI near the video controls.
