FWIW I use 2 of these HIK Vision and they are working great. Quick disclaimer that I am still using the demo version of SH. I have been using the same cams with Zoneminder and BlueIris as well.

I am currently evaluating this product against Zoneminder, BlueIris and buying a NVR and I am not sure what you guys meant by not renewing subscription? I thought this product is a one time license of $250 and the annual fee is for "support" which I assumed is like email/phone support?
