Re: Recording Framerate

Hiya OCB, There is no difference in the video processing library between Windows and OSX. If a certain stream is not working with your camera I'd need to figure out why in the underlying code. h264 requires much more processing than MJPEG, but uses less bandwidth. With regard to saving power, I hig...

Re: Vitamin D not following the industry evolution

Hi Johannes, All I can say is that I still feel that VDV is the best software in its class on the market today, but 18 months from now without updates that would likely no longer be the case. I'd certainly like to see it remain the best. Hi, Thank's for a quick answer. I have now been using Vitamin...

Re: User confirmed cameras

Thanks! The stream path is empty, and it is simply rtsp://user:pass@IP ? I'll get these built into a future version. When you say VDV is useless with the WOB-300-Np, why is that? Do you have a stream that plays in other media players, or you are unable to find the stream? Hi Ryan, Streampath is eit...

Re: Vitamin D not following the industry evolution

JohannesL, Access to higher resolution video in app is certainly something I would like to get in soon. col, I'm glad you enjoy the software and I promise that it has not been abandoned and that there is a great desire to see it live on well into the future. Re: User confirmed cameras

Hi Johannes, What settings did you use to access these cameras? Hi, In Vitamin, RSTP with port forwarding. 1280x1024 resolution. Also other options work without problems. Those cameras are already more than a year old models. Unfortunately VitaminD is useless with the latest Brickcom WOB-300-Np. Re...

Re: Vitamin D not following the industry evolution

[*] We may want to update the set of resolutions, I agree. Of course, the GUI is still really tuned for VGA video (the higher megapixel settings are really only useful for export). Trying to figure out a solution to tune the GUI for high res is much more difficult. Also note that higher resolutions...

MAC OS X 10.8.3: email notifications stopped working

Hi,

Seems to be so that email notifications stopped working with MAC OS X 10.8.3. With 10.8.2 everything was OK. The test message still works, no problem with that. The email messages with pictures are not sent anymore. Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

Re: Vitamin eating memory?

Hi,

The jump came, when I was switching the cameras on and off again. I'm not sure, if the upward slopes are ok. They seems to increase a little per day for some reason. Attached is the situation today.
