Sighthound Video 7 BETA 1 is released

About to buy axxonnext.

Do you know how much it is? Looks pretty impesssive but i'm thinking it's going to be way more than sighthound licences.

I'm keen to hear feedback from those using this beta if the detections are more accurate i.e with animals etc? not clear to me if this version uses deep learning with the clips users have submitted.

Well, all I can say is THANK YOU, I was faced with getting a newer computer or moving on to Xeoma. My older iMAC was dropping camera connections and running at close to 100% of CPU on 6.1. After installing the BETA7 it dropped to 70% and has stopped dropping connections!!

Not sure where you want bug reports, but on my iMac running High Sierra, 2,5 GHz with 16GB RAM I keep getting a 'Sighthound Video closed unexpectedly' error after about 20-30 minutes or so. Thing is the program did not close and as far as I can determine was still running fine. I will attach the crash report and you can move it where you need it.
So far this is the only bug I have encountered, sure there are more buts so far it seems to be running much better using 30% less CPU overhead.

*Note* Seems switching the Recent Video Buffer from HDD to Memory fixed this issue.

@visionik - I'm testing out Reolink's new RLC-810A (sub $100 4k POE camera w/ audio and RTSP!). So far I'm loving it. The reason I mention this is because the RTSP stream is ONLY in H.265 (confirmed with support). In my earlier post I said that H.265 was a major consideration for me, but not a must. With this product though, it's now a must. If Sighthound does not start supporting H.265 like every other product on the market, I'm moving on. As it stands I'm already looking at replacement options, and if I find one I'm happy with before Sighthound starts their support, I probably won't have a reason to come back.

Also, how's the 7.0 before the new year looking?

just installed the beta 7. running on mac mini late 2012 with 16 gigs of ram.

Audio no longer works when I am searching through the days events (motion / trip wire)

If I right click and exact, it plays fine in vlc with both pic and sound.

install went smoothly for me on this version

only issue i've seen so far is the web browser view does not play anything (error loading clip) but i can play it on the computer itself locally fine
