@ liqmetal,

I have done exactly the way you showed in the screenshots

For reference I have attached my screenshots. It is simply not working at my side :?

System Firmware Version 1.9.3.15
Application Firmware Version 2.52.2.16
Plug-In Version 3.3.0.7

Do your cameras have the same versions as mine?

Thanks for your help.

I got it running on my C1 using other with /videoMain.

System firmware 1.9.3.15
Application firmware 2.52.2.15

Ran in to one issue connecting with the API, the passwords I used where to long. They worked in the web interface but failed when connecting with the API. Reduced the password length to 12 and works fine now.

Did anyone find a sure-fire fix for this? Would love to use a couple C1's, but not sure its worth the hassle.

I got it to work using the foscam fi9821w like rhinonz mentioned, but it only works for some while and then it says "cannot connect to camera". The way i get it to work again is by changing my rtsp port in the c1's webinterface (from 554 to 557 or whatever)
It is very annoying having to do this almost every day.
Does annyone knows a solution for this or know what the problem would be?
I tried the other cam options like other people mentioned here (other cam etc) but none of them worked.

My c1 firmware version : 1.9.3.16_2.52.2.33
Using it with a wired connection, not WiFi

If the camera is hanging until you reset it by changing ports or other action I'm afraid there's nothing we can do from the Sighthound side, that would just be a bug in the camera. It looks like there may be a newer firmware version for the C1, the following link lists a 2.X.2.37: http://www.foscam.eu/index.php/producta ... _Firmware/

The camera claims to support ONVIF but I see in their forums there has been some variation between firmware versions as to whether it is functioning or not. If it is in the latest firmware the camera should be able to be selected from the auto-detection list with no manual entry of streams/ports/IPs needed.

Thanks for the reply Ryan.
I installed the 2.x.2.37 and for the moment the cam is still found by Sighthound, so far so good.
I tried onvif to see if it works, but it still doesn't work.
Now i wait to see if the cam loses connection with sighthound again like it used to do.
(The cam works fine using the foscam app)
I will post a reply when the could not connect problem persists.
