Exactly. I just can't figure out why for the life of me. Could running it through HTTPS be a problem? I run a bunch of other web services without issue on that machine, but none of them are encrypted.

EDIT: Can confirm it is in fact Windows Firewall blocking the connection by disabling it. I have allowed both the app and the port in inbound/outbound connections but to no avail. There must be another reason it's being blocked by the Firewall. I'll update here in case it helps anyone else.

EDIT EDIT: Yay! So it seems in my case, Windows did not automatically allow the sub-app Sighthound Web.exe through the firewall. You just need to open Windows Firewall, choose Allow another Application and browse to to the sighthound directory and select Sighthound Web to add it to the exception list.

Now it's working.

I can't get local/remote viewing working at all and need help with this. I opened up my port on my router and made sure my firewall software is not blocking it. I have Windows FireWall turned off and only using WebRoot SecureAnywhere. Could this be a certificate issue?

I am running on win7.64bit and running latest SightHound v3.0.1

Same issue here. On the local machine (logged in) when i click on Local IP 127.0.0.1 it works, but when i click on internal address, it doesn't work. Clicking on external address does work..

When trying to access the via iphone external address works.

When trying to access via remote computer via the external address does not work.

Doesn't make sense. All ports forwarded, working on other devices so it's not a router or firewall issue. I am using Windows 10.

I think there is a bug here that we are exp...

Just to report that funkydude's solution also worked for me.

I just added a new firewall rule for "Sighthound Web" and Windows Firewall stopped blocking.

Hi, I don't have Windows Firewall activated, i'm using WebRoot SecureAnywhere and I am allowing 'Sighthound Web.exe' to go through... My 1st image above shows that it's in 'Allow' state. Not sure what else to try. Hoping someone at Sighthound might have an answer.

@ al2suarez
The image you attached showed the web server without any video player - are you running the latest version of flash on that web browser? Have you tried connecting using any other web browsers?

Safari (OS X El Capitan) & Chrome (Win7 & Win10) & IE (Win7) simply don't work on any computer and displays exactly what previous image I posted a couple of days ago... however, just tried it on Win10 using Microsoft Edge and it works as you can see. But I need it to work on Chrome since that is my default browser and my Win10 runs as a Virtual Machine.

And I am running latest Chrome (version 47.0.2526.106) which if not mistaken already runs latest Flash.
