Thanks Devin,

I'll take a look at the logs in the next few days as time allows.

If I find anything I'll let everybody know, if not I'll raise a ticket.

Lets try and pin this bu**er down.......

Hi there Devin and everybody else.

With reference to this problem, I've looked through the logs, and I cannot see anything that is happening at the same time that I loose connection to my camera - But I may just be missing it, as there are a lot more log entries than I though there would be and I may well be looking at the wrong ones.....

HOWEVER.....

I have made a change, and it seems to have worked.

Before I changed router / ISP (ie when system was stable) SH did not list my camera (Escam QD300) so I manually entered the stream path (sourced from the internet) as

":554//user=*****&password=*****&channel=1&stream=0.sdp" (without the quotes, and ***** are my logon details)

When I came to set the camera up with the new router, SH was now listing my camera by ip address on the "Camera setup" page, so I just chose it by the tickbox. The stream path was then filled in as

"Profile_0000:H264, 1280x720 (rtsp://195/168/***/***/user " but then I can't see or access the rest of it, but I suspect it's the same as above.

To me, the only real difference seems to be the "554" bit before "user..." but seeing as I just copied it verbatim, I don't know what it signifies.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to interpret these, so I can't be definitive, but (at the moment, it seems stable, with no disconnections....)

Please, anyone with greater knowledge, your thoughts are welcome.

Roy
