Hi jmac,

The additional bug reports are absolutely welcome, we were just hoping to hear a response to the emails as there were questions we had about your setup and the trouble that the logs alone could not answer.

I'm glad to hear that all seems to be working for you at the moment, and hope that it will continue in that regard. In summation of some of the previous issues across both forum posts and emails -

* The build which was sent was for the occasional email crashes you were experiencing. These would not have caused interference with IFTTT, with the exception of possibly losing a single IFTTT response pending at the time of the crash.

* I'm afraid we have not had any other reports of IFTTT trouble, which has made attempting to diagnose what may be occurring more difficult.

* Rebooting your computer should have had no impact at any point, all logs pointed to IFTTT responses being sent to the server correctly. This strongly indicates trouble somewhere in the "cloud" or with specific recipe configurations at times.

It also may or may not be that in testing and deleting/recreating rules and recipes something may not have been linked properly at points (new rule with different name, ifttt response toggled off, etc...), confounding some of the confusion around what may be happening. Regardless, I hope that things remain working well for you now, and if any other issues arise please let us know and we will be happy to investigate.

Best,
- ryan

Everything still running smooth! All IFTTT commands are being sent and received.

Added my 4th camera, this time a 3.0 MP (instead of a 1.3) CPU is now running at 49% (previously 27%).

Tried to add the 5th and 6th cameras (1.3) and for some reason I can't log into the camera settings to set them up (I know this isn't a Sighthound issue, but have you ever heard of such a thing?) The previous 4 cameras setup was identical, all the cameras have a default ip, I changed my Mac to be on the same subnet and typed the ip into the browser...and nothing, this worked with all the other cameras (same brand). Not sure what I'm missing. I've even tried hitting the reset button on the cameras (hoping they would default back to there original ip) but that didn't work either.

Thanks for all your help with the IFTTT craziness!

Hi jmac,

I'm glad to hear everything is working well again!

If you log into your router and view the client list do you see all 6 cameras listed? If so do they have the IP addresses you expected? This article has details on how to view the client list: https://www.sighthound.com/support/how- ... -my-camera

If this model uses a default IP address there may be a conflict. If this is the case you should be able to get around it by temporarily unplugging the other cameras that are the same model and configure these new ones one at a time. If you haven't already, I'd recommend setting static IP addresses for each camera to ensure the address never changes.

If you need any assistance in configuring your router please provide the manufacturer and model number, and I'll be happy to help.

Regards,

-Devin
