Another +1 for Audio. I just installed 7 cameras and the lack of audio support might be what causes me to look elsewhere.

I really wanted to buy this, but not being able to save audio is a deal breaker. I love the interface and search abilities. It's a shame that such a good application is missing such basic feature. Synology does a great job but I need surveillance backup solution.

For more than 7 years they have been stringing along customers with the crap half promise of, "audio is on our feature list as something possible down the road..."
They claim there are higher requested features... but I call total BS on that claim. Going back the several years including when this was originally branded, "Vitamin D Video" there have been countless forum posts asking these very same questions of, "why no audio???" It falls on deaf ears dude. We bought a couple pro licenses and were looking for buying as many as 8 more for our various business properties, but no audio is indeed a deal breaker and a total joke on you, the buyer.
Also, from experience the remote capabilities are crap when you go to play back recorded clips remotely... we have the most extreme robust PC when it comes to mobo, RAM, CPU, and video card... internet upload is 20Mbps and yes, we've increased the settings in sighthound to maximum throughput, and still when we request a clip to play remotely on either a mobile device via app or on a browser on another PC the delay to play from one of the 5 cameras clips is longer than 30 seconds - IF it even plays to begin with!
We're disappointed, especially considering we had high hopes years ago that they might actually implement audio recording... 8 more pro licenses we were going to buy - EIGHT. :/
