Re: iPhone vs. iPad issue viewing clips

It looks like they might be loading on the iPad (screen on right side goes black) but nothing ever happens. Yep, I worked a very similar issue with Sighthound support a few months back, and the problem had to do with a new camera I added that supported audio (my first and only with audio). When I d...

Re: Mac Mini

I think you'd be okay with 4 x 1080P at 15FPS, but please try it with the trial first to make sure.

New Mac Minis announced today as well. Can't wait to upgrade!

Re: Mac Mini

30 FPS is just personal preference, I guess. More frames means a better chance to capture a clean still image of a face. My guess is that you could safely run 7 1080p cameras at 12-15FPS, but I'd still run a test to be sure. I now have 8 4K cameras recorded at full spec to an NVR, while the MM/SH on...

Re: Mac Mini

I had to make the followi...

Re: No updates, no support

Overall I'm pretty dissatisfied. The detection features are poor, frequently labeling grass blowing in the wind as people and don't get me started on bugs. I'm frustrated too with the apparent lack of SH support and development, but don't agree that the SH detection features are poor. While I do ge...

Mac OSX 10.14 Mojave

I haven't updated my Mac Mini to Mojave yet. Has anyone on here done so? Are there any issues I should be aware of?

I want to be extra careful since I'm not sure we are going to see any more Sighthound updates...

Bad feeling...again!

I've been a SH user for almost 4 years now, and regularly follow this message board. I was looking through these great posts/suggestions here in Feature Requests and had trouble finding ANY that were ever implemented. I think we are talking into the wind. No software updates in 6 months, little to n...

Re: Poor video quality via remote access

Sorry, I misunderstood your original post.

What happens when you configure the phone app with the local IP address?
